Message to our clients concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear client,

At Canimex Group, the health of our employees and our customers is our top priority, more than ever during these unprecedented times. We want to assure you that we’re monitoring the situation closely, and we’ve put several measures in place to safeguard the health of our employees and to maintain our customer service.

We quickly set up an intervention committee dedicated entirely to virus prevention, to make sure we follow and apply the directives of the public health authorities across all our business units.

Some of the measures we’ve put in place include:

  • Cancelling and avoiding all trips abroad including the United States
  • Making sure all employees who’ve returned from trips abroad since March 12 self-isolate for 14 days
  • Implementing hygiene measures including regularly disinfecting our work spaces and equipment
  • Implementing social distancing measures (working remotely where possible, keeping a safe distance of one metre from each other, etc.)
  • Carefully controlling and monitoring visitors, truck drivers, delivery drivers, etc.
  • Accommodations to allow employees with children at home to work remotely where possible

Rest assured, we’re taking all the necessary steps to maintain our business operations. We have contingency plans in place to deal with all eventualities and we’re proactively managing our supplies. We are assessing the situation and reviewing our plans daily to optimize our operations during this crisis.
